Now by law you can apply for Your Retirement or Disability Pension in Albania – Anywhere in the World
- Women over 61 years and men over 65 years must visit our office to start the procedure and submit documents online.
- After that, any online applications can be completed from anywhere in the world via phone.
Social Pension:
- Individuals who have never worked are eligible for a state social pension.
- Seniors over 70 years who have lived in Albania for the past five years are eligible for a social pension of 6,750 ALL, plus compensation for electricity (650 ALL), bread, and fuel.
Additional Services:
- Transfer of a deceased spouse’s pension: When you reach pension age, you can choose between a compensation payment or the pension itself. This applies at any age, especially if the deceased spouse left a minor child.
- According to Law 7/2025, individuals who have worked in agriculture, agricultural enterprises, or cooperatives, or have lived mainly in rural areas, are eligible for a pension even without formal documentation.
- Thanks to the latest Albania-Italy agreement, your years of work in Albania can now be recognized in Italy, allowing you to claim a pension there.
